Donald S. Jones Sr., P.E., CSP, is senior manager, EHS, for Verenium Corp. in Jennings, LA. Jones has more than 35 years' experience in industry as a manager, engineer and SH&E professional. He has also served as an OSHA special government employee. Jones holds a B.S. in Engineering from Louisiana State University and an M.B.A. from Texas A&M. rnJones has been actively involved with ASSE at a local, regional, national and international level. He held all offices in the Greater Baton Rouge Chapter. He was actively involved with the regional government affairs, nomination and PDC committees. He served as administrator and assistant administrator of the Management Practice Specialty (MPS).
