National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) collaborated with Federal Highway Administration, to launch a website, Everyone Is a Pedestrian, with safety tips, statistics and other resources to arm local leaders, city planners and parents with the tools to improve pedestrian safety. These resources include information for parents and care-givers on teaching children about safe walking, reports on effective pedestrian projects for state highway safety offices and guides for community pedestrian safety advocates.
