National Commission for the Certification of Crane Op-erators (NCCCO) has launched a program, Committed to Crane Safety, to recognize employers that hire CCO-certified personnel. The program acknowledges the time, effort and resources companies invest in to ensure that crane operators and related personnel are certified. "Crane operators, signalpersons and riggers receive recognition for their knowledge and skill related to safe crane operations when they are issued a CCO certification card," says NCCCO's Kerry Hulse. "It is therefore appropriate that safety-conscious employers should also be honored for their commitment to safety."
