EU-OSHA Seeks to Improve Small Enterprise Safety

European Agency for Safety and Health at Work (EU-OSHA) launched a project to identify success factors of policies, strategies and practical solutions to improve OSH in Europe's micro and small enterprises (MSEs), whose employees tend to be at greater risk of workplace injuries and illnesses than those of their larger counterparts. The agency published the results of the project's first phase and discussed the findings with stakeholders at a seminar held in Brussels June 28. According to a press release, discussions focused on how to ensure the safety, health and well-being of those who work in MSEs.
