According to the report, climate change may increase the prevalence and severity of known occupational hazards, as well as introduce new hazards. Outdoor workers, such as those in agriculture, commercial fisheries, construction, transportation and first response, are most at risk of these new exposures. However, workers in hot indoor environments such as warehouses and factories are also at risk.
