Senior management is still dominated by the Baby Boomer generation. By 2040 these people will have been replaced by Digital Natives - a generation who don't remember a world before the internet existed. This will have profound implications for business management. These people believe in sharing and collaboration. They are happier communicating using technology. And they will be more relaxed about non-hierarchical structures for their businesses (see feature, page 42).
