My prime driver is the development of people. The only constant in an ever-changing world is people. Therefore, personal development is at the heart of any business that wants to stay ahead. This is especially true when compared to the always increasing rate of change and development within technology - and the client's expectations that go along with it. The pace of change within the technology sector seems to get faster and faster and, as a manager, you have to be prepared for that. The technology programmes we used to run five years ago took three to four months; the expectation now is that the customers want these in three to four weeks. Technological improvements have enabled customer projects to be delivered in a much more efficient way and to a faster timescale. There are now no excuses.
