When Hideto Yamamoto, CFA, began his portfolio management career, he thought he had the easiest job in the world. Yamamoto graduated irom Keio University with a degree in economics in 1985, and had joined the Industrial Bank of Japan (IBJ). In 1988, the bank transferred him to Switzerland to manage Japanese equities for private banking clients.
