Mew York's large-scale facilities have fragmented in response to new business practices and are looking for a fresh influx of talent. Adrian Pennington reports. Sono's post-production community has always had strong links with post scenes in America. With no language barrier, many of our creatives have moved to LA, San Francisco or New York. The Big Apple has recently seen Glassworks' Hector Macleod and Golden Square Post's Ewan Macleod become involved with Click3X. While San Francisco and LA pick up most high-end film and 3D graphics work, New York is the hub for most of the east-coast commercials work. One of the more significant trends in New York is the evolution of large-scale facilities into groups of independently run, centrally-owned outfits. Once clustered in and around Madison Avenue and the midtown commercial district, the city's high-end post houses find themselves gravitating toward the more bohemian areas of SoHo and Greenwich Village.
