Supply chain managers must take into account many business functions, including financial management, that were outside the traditional "silos' of production This ar- ticle explores the issues involved when supply chain man- agement intersects wit international finance. The author presents a real world supply chain model as a means of illustrating international financial management concepts, demonstrates the financial perspective on an international supply chain, and examines three areas of particular signifi- cance to multinational enterprises.
