摘要

Autoimmune vasculitis often manifests as focal and necro-tizing glomerulonephritis and renal failure. Antineutrophil cytoplasmic Abs (ANCA) specific for myeloperoxidase (MPO) play a role in disease. Although some studies implicate autoreactive MPO-specific CD4~+ cells in disease, there is minimal direct evidence for their role as antigen-specific effectors of disease.
