EVALUATION METHOD ON ROUGHNESS OF A BATH TUB FROM A VIEWPOINT OF PAIN CAUSED BY A TOUCH OF HUMAN BODY

摘要

This paper presents a method to evaluate roughness of a bath tub from a view point of pain caused by touching human body with a bath tub.A sensory test was carried out with regard to pain that human felt when a human body (back or hip)touched several samples in a bath within hot water or without hot water. Then, sensory scales on pain were discussed from results of the sensy test. The sensory scale on pain in wet condition was closely related to that i dry condition. It was clarified that the sensory scales on pain was explained b the physical quantity `P(II)',which was measured in dry condition.
