Dynamic soil-structure interaction is analyzed for pile groups in layered fluid-filled poroelastic soil using thin layered element method. Impedances and foundation input motions of pile groups i layered fluid-filled poroelastic soil are calculated and compared to those in an elastic soil whose constants are chosen appropriately. Earthquake response anddynamic stresses of the pile groups are also evaluated. Maximum pore water pressre distributions around the piles are calculated and the characteristics of pore water pressure are discussed.
