摘要

This paper aims to clarify characteristics of building trend of houses in Arable Land Improvement Project Areas in Urbanization Promotion Areas (ALIPA/UPA) of Aichi Prefecture those which are originally implemented for farm land developments. Comparaive analysis has been done between ALIPA and Land Readjustment Project Areas (LRPA). Main findings are as follows; (1) More than 20/100 of houses are newly developed in ALIPA from 1989 to 1997. (2) Lower prices of houses and smaller housing lots are main characteristics of houses built in ALIPA. (3) Any positive answers of families in ALIPA cannot be seen in qustions about housing and its environment. (4) To improve living environment in ALIPA, differences of houses between ALIPA and LRPA should be considered at the same time.
