BDT Media Automation has added a B1 -format feeder, the TPF-750 LT, into its portfolio of digital print feeders. It accommodates media weights from 67 gsm to 800 gsm, thick media and exotic substrates, including high-static synthetics or spot varnished prints. The device's feed rates are above 10,000/hr. for A3 for-mats. Relevant substrate parameters are stored in the database and can be viewed via a touchscreen panel. The fully automated TPF-750 LT runs without compressed air or manual adjustments. There are less parts to maintain-no pump, valves or filters-thereby reducing operating costs. Applications include feeding for digital presses and postpress finishing systems.
