Recycling's Extended Effects

To most PCB manufacturers and assemblers, recycling conjures images of paper recycling and scrap boards, and what to do with them. But recycling today is taking on a much larger role in the scheme of things.In this two part article, we will discuss not only recycling in the sense of our own manufacturing space, but also the broader implications of how a number of recycling initiatives at the end-of-life may affect which materials we use as components and as process materials.
