Altium Joins Data Transfer Consortium

Altium in January became the latest CAD developer to join the IPC-2581 Consortium. The printed circuit board design software company brings the total number of members within the consortium to 50. The consortium was formed in 2011 to support the development of an intelligent vendor-neutral standard for electronics design and manufacturing data transfer. With the addition of Altium, three of the four largest PCB CAD vendors are now members of the consortium.
