HKPCA reported nearly 39,000 persons attended its annual three-day exhibition this year, the most in the show's 13-year history. SnapEDA announced a partnership with a provider of a standard parts library to help electronics designers bring connected devices to market faster.The Common Parts Library, created and hosted by Octopart, is said to speed component selection by guiding designers toward commonly used components and permitting contract manufacturers the convenience of knowing which parts they need on hand to leverage economies of scale.
