Two-Way Slow Scan TV Communications By Nanowaves

On Saturday14 September 2013, Barry Chambers G8AGN and Richard Hanes GORPH successfully passed SSTV pictures both ways over the 66km path between High Bradfield near Sheffield, Yorkshire and Manton near Kirton Lindsey, Lincolnshire, using modulated light-waves from red light emitting diodes (I.e.d.s) Visibility along the path was particularly good on this evening and initial communication by voice was noted as RS-59 by both stations. Computer-generated SSTV was used at each end to modulate the transmitters.
