Based in Rockland Harbor, the motor vessel Rekord of 1914 is a sail-assisted, diesel-powered freight and passenger craft thal first arrived in Maine waters in the mid-1970s. Now just past her centennial year, Rekord is still owned by veteran Maine Coast windjammer owner and skipper Captain James Sharp, of Camden and Rockland.
