The first ALSTOM Cyclone industrial gas turbine in North America has entered commercial service. The turbine is powering a compressor set and gas storage facility in British Columbia. The unit, which operates with a dry low emissions combustion system to reduce NO_x and CO emissions, is the first to be fully packaged and tested at the company's new facility in Houston, which packages gas turbines manufactured by ALSTOM in the UK and in Finland.
