摘要

After a brief explanation of ferroresonance, the author presents a permanent nonperiodic case of this phenomenon observed on a 400 kV power system. Given the variety of possible permanent solutions, classic study methods are inefficient, and a mathematical framework is required for an overall view of system behavior. The bifurcation theory provides this framework. The numerical methods presented make it possible to construct a study tool applicable to the practical problems faced by power system operators. In particular, it helps to determine the values of the parameters at which the nonperiodic phenomenon occurs and to allow for a safety margin in relation to these values.
