SEVEN MOUs FOR QUEBEC EXPANSION

The Quebec Port Authority,Canada has recently announcedthe signing of Memorandumsof Understanding (MOUs) withseven major partners from thetransportation and researchsectors to advance its portexpansion project.The expansion project, namedLaurentia, has a core investmentof C$775 million for construction.The project, according to theport authority; “…is expectedto provide 1000 sustainablejobs related to the terminaloperation,” with a furtherestimated C$100 million ofannual economic impact.
