PdI's Financing and Investing in Ports Conference has become a popular industry forum for investors and port operators. Benedict Young reports on some of the hot topics and debates that emerged at the sixth annual meeting which took place in London on 27th and 28th September 2001 PdI's sixth annual Financing and Investing in Ports Conference was chaired by Ken Gibbons, director of the UK Ports and Terminals Group. Ken Gibbons recently returned to the Group six years after he attended the first PdI finance conference, in those days known at the Port Privatisation Conference.
