I have seen the future of communication, and it is distracting. And the worst part is, my exasperation is written all over my face-which you can plainly see at the other end of this connection. I'm talking about video phone calls, or videoconferencing as it's better known these days. It's the Holy Grail of both the computer and communication industries, and one of the most appealing lures of the information highway for consumers. That's why I agreed to check out Intel's ProShare system, one of the most popular PC video phone products so far.
