Procrastination is the most common fault, trait, or issue for a journalist. I've had many different jobs around this car biz, but none more than in publishing do the deadlines weigh so heavy ― common sense is elusive when it comes to preparing for them. That's the case when it comes to my story on Praxis (www.praxxissystems.com), the subsidiary from Bridgestone/ Firestone Vehicle Systems that is designing air spring-based suspension systems with a twist ― they allow your car to handle the turns like traditional springs. Last August I flew up to Mosport ― the legendary circuit north of Toronto ― to test the only model that Praxis had available for sale, a Subaru WRX. That story was great for the import books, but what was I to do for PHR? A WRX story in these pages would have our book hitting the floor faster than you could cancel a HOT ROD subscription for covering Hondas!
