Southern California is home to thousands of custom car and truck shops, but only a handful stand out, and Hot Rods and Customs of Escondido, California, is one of those shops. They started out in 1989 when the owner, Randy Clark, and a couple guys took lease of one building and started servicing high-end custom cars. Clark was no stranger to running a shop; he had many other businesses in the past catering to different needs. It was time to get into what he really loved: cars. His business has since grown to take up four buildings, including the original.
