As we are putting together this issue of PHR, we are still a long way from receiving our engine building applications for the 2010 AMSOIL Engine Masters Challenge. The rules and new format have made the rounds with our prospective competitors, and without a doubt this is the time when serious contemplation is called for to determine what combination to build in the quest for the Engine Masters Championship. Things have definitely changed from the previous year, so it isn't going to be a case of simply extended development on an existing Engine Masters competition engine. No, to play this year is going to take a full rethink on the whole combination.
