The allure of easy power through turbos and superchargers is often a hard siren song to ignore, and with that big payoff comes big technical challenges. When you're into the throttle and the boost gauge is soaring, all that pressure has to go somewhere when the throttle closes. If your blow-off valve isn't up to the job, you're going to shell your turbo, blow a hose off, bend a throttle plate, or all three. The difficulty of a turbo installation is also compounded I frequently by the lack of space, or the wrong shape of available space under- hood.
