S IS FOR SUPER!

OK, maybe the 5 in Strange Engineering's S60 rear axle doesn't stand for super. The initial probably only stands for Strange. But it could easily mean strong, serious, or stupendous. Still, rodders can hoist a glass and toast their good fortune that in today's enthusiast aftermarket, super products like this are available. With their significant production volume and decades of engineering expertise, the people at Strange were able to bring to market a rear axle that's designed just for us racers. Their S60's unique design combines the brute strength of the Dana 60 with the serviceability of a drop-out (pumpkin-style) axle, employing threaded carrier adjusters (no carrier shims-hooray!) and other user-friendly features. And we can have virtually any differentials, axles, hubs, ring-and-pinion, housing-end styles, and so on that we need. We don't have to compromise or haunt the junkyards for rusty junk to rehabilitate. It's all right here. We rodders have it pretty nice these days, you've got to admit.
