Alan who was a former Deputy Chief Constable, was responsible for helping the ARA confiscate cash obtained by criminals from illegal activities. Mr McQuillan, 53, and former PSNI colleague Robin Campbell, are believed to be going to set up a private consultancy company. Part of their new job will include advising other countries on methods of tackling organised crime.rnThe ARA is due to merge next month with the UK-wide Serious Organised Crime Agency. Mr McQuillan said he was looking forward to the "next phase" of his career.
