PSNI POLICE MOTOR CLUB ABBEY NEWFORGE TARGA RALLY 2014

The Police Service of Northern Ireland Motor Club held another very successful Targa Rally in the Lisburn area this year, supported by Abbey Insurance, Newforge. This Targa Rally which has become more popularly known as the Lanes Rally, based its Headquarters at the Maghaberry Inn. Clerk of the Course, Jimmy Allen, secured terrific venues for the competition; Boyles Lane, Broomhedge Farm, Barrett's Yard, Lime Kiln Farm, Greer's Lane and Ellen's Wood. He used some venues a number of times which provided an excellent days rallying for this well attended event. On completion of the tests, time cards were calculated professionally by Julie and Samantha Allen, who produced the results in a very efficient manner.
