Delegates and Council meet in Birmingham this year to debate the motions that Constituencies have put forward. Chair of Council, Janet Mclnnes, has encouraged Members to attend their local Constituency meetings to discuss the issues they feel strongly about; not only issues encountered in day-to-day work, but also wider issues that Council will be able to use as a guide for the future direction of the Society. And judging from the wide range of issues raised in the motions in the following pages, Members have taken Janet Mclnnes' message to heart!
