Scottish Parliamentary reception Health works when feet work - keep Scotland moving

This event, sponsored by Jackie Baillie MSP, Labour Shadow Cabinet Secretary for Health, promoted podiatry as a high-quality, patient-centred, cost-effective and preventative service that helps keep people fit active and independent in the community. The parliamentary reception took place from 6-8pm on Tuesday 28th June 2011. The rival attractions of a Westminster by-election, the imminent summer recess and a very hot summer evening meant that there were fewer people there than might otherwise have been the case. However those who came had an entertaining and informative evening.
