The Society is often contacted by law firms to ask for our list of Expert Witnesses. This is a call for members who are already doing this type of work (and therefore also insured), or wish to do this type of work, to be part of the list that we send out. Not being on our list could mean that you are missing out on your services being used by law firms. You need to have undertaken appropriate training and be insured to carry out this work, normally by being a member of an expert witness organisation.
