Czech spent fuel casks demonstrated under repository conditions: Skoda JS

Czech nuclear engineering and services company Skoda JS said Nov. 15 that it has demonstrated its spent nuclear fuel containers can withstand simulated deep repository conditions for a period of 10,000 years, following completion of an eight-year long project on behalf of the Czech national Radioactive Waste Repository Authority SURAO.
