The price of uranium is continuing to fall due to aggressive offers by suppliersseeking sales by the end of the year, according to market sources.S&P Global Platts assessed the 12-month average of uranium spotprices, based on the mean of assessed activity for U3O8 delivered overthe next 12 months, at $25.57/lb at 1 pm EST December 27. That priceis 35 cents below the price Platts assessed December 20 at $25.92/lb.
