Jan-June zinc, lead supply surpluses linger: ILZSG

Global supply of refined zinc metal exceededndemand by 152,000 mt during the firstnhalf of 2012, while stock levels were upnby 130,000 mt, according to provisionalninformation compiled by the InternationalnLead & Zinc Study Group. Global refinednlead supply exceeded demand by 48,000nmt in the six-month period, and inventoriesndeclined by 1,000 mt, ILZSG said.
