New Jersey SREC prices climb in auction

Prices for New Jersey solar carve-out renewable energyncertificates continued to climb over the past week, with anrebound in clearing prices in the state’s latest SREC auction.nThe auction, conducted October 16, saw prices for 2014nvintage SRECs clear at $191.96/SREC for 1,686 SRECs, an increasenof more than $25 from the July auction. The clearing price aboven$190/SREC was also well above the bilateral market, which hadnbeen pricing at about $185/SREC ahead of the auction.
