West dailies fall on mild weather

Western day-ahead power prices continued to peel back Tuesday as mild weather continued to settle in across the region. Trading on Wednesday in the West will begin an altered scheduled to accommodate the Labor Day Holiday. Trading on Wednesday will be for Thursday-Friday delivery, Thursday for Saturday-Sunday and Friday for Monday-Tuesday. In the Northwest, Mid-Columbia on-peak lost $1.25 dropping below $25/MWh for Wednesday delivery on the IntercontinentalExchange. Mid-C off-peak was also down close to $1.25 to about $19/MWh.
