PJM West eases into low $30s/MWh

Mid-Atlantic dailies fell Tuesday with lower demand projections weighing more on the spot power than a rise in spot natural gas. PJM West Hub on-peak tumbled $2.25 to around $31/MWh for Wednesday delivery on the IntercontinentalExchange. PJM West Hub off-peak was $18.75/MWh after shedding $1.25. The PJM Interconnection forecast demand to fall from around 113,300 MW Tuesday to about 110,900 MW Wednesday and 111,150 MW Thursday.
