Dailies mixed, terms weaker with gas down

West dailies were mixed Monday under pressure from weaker spot gas and a firm peak demand outlook. The California Independent System Operator forecast demand to increase slightly, peaking at about 29,200 MW Monday, 29,225 Tuesday, 29,450 Wednesday and 29,000 MW Thursday. In California, SP15 day-ahead on-peak lost 50 cents to around $35/MWh on the IntercontinentalExchange. Off-peak eased $2 to about $28/MWh.
