Oklahoma Gas & Electric said Monday that if state regulators do notrnapprove the utility's plan to add scrubbers on two 500-MW-plus coalrnunits at its Sooner station by May 2, OG&E will cancel its scrubberrncontract and convert the coal units to natural gas firing.rnOG&E's $500 million scrubber plan, which already has beenrnrejected by the Oklahoma Corporation Commission as part of a largerrnplan, was before the OCC again on Monday, this time in a last-ditchrnattempt by the utility to gain the commission's support.
