Mid-Atlantic day-ahead power prices were stronger Thursday with higherrnspot gas prices and temperatures forecast closer to seasonal norms.rnPJM West Hub on-peak rose $2.50 to around $28.50/MWh for Fridayrndelivery on the IntercontinentalExchange. Off-peak jumped $6.50 to aboutrn$22/MWh. Next-week on-peak slipped 75 cents to around $36.25/MWhrnwith off-peak down $1 near $26.50/MWh. Weekend on-peak was nearrn$26/MWh with off-peak around $21.50/MWh. Texas Eastern M-3 dayaheadrnnatural gas jumped 65 cents to $2.150/MMBtu.
