Highlighting North Carolina's strong leadership position in solar energy,rnChinese solar developer ReneSola is selling 24 MW of ground-mountedrnprojects in the state to a subsidiary of Panda Green Energy in a dealrnannounced Tuesday.rnPanda Green will sell the 24 MW of solar power purchased fromrnReneSola to a local utility via a 15-year power purchase agreement.rnReneSola’s US project lineup consists of over 100 MW of “mid-to-laternstage projects,” and the company continues to “expect the region tornbe a major growth market in the years ahead," Xianshou Li, chairmanrnand CEO, said in a statement.
