West prices rebound, BPA curtailments rise

West power prices rebounded Tuesday after reaching some of the lower levels in years on Monday. In the Northwest, Mid-Columbia on-peak day-ahead jumped more than $11 to around $11.25/MWh for Wednesday delivery on the Intercontinental Exchange. Off-peak added $1.75 to nearly negative $4.50/MWh.
