In surprising move, Powelson to step down from FERC to head up water group

With less than a year under his belt at the commission, Robert Powelson announced June 28 he would step down from FERC in mid- August to take the helm at the National Association of Water Companies. His tenure would be the shortest in the history of FERC, which was established in October 1977.
