Everfuel set to start construction of Europe’s largest electrolyzer in Denmark

Renewable hydrogen company Everfuel has received the building permit to start construction on its 20-MW HySynergy Phase I electrolyzer in Fredericia, Denmark, it said Aug. 12. The electrolyzer will be the largest in Europe when it comes online mid-2022, producing around 8 mt/day of green hydrogen from renewable power, with 10 mt of storage capacity. "The building permit takes us one step closer to reducing CO2 emissions and supporting the green transition through industrialscale production of green hydrogen," Everfuel CEO Jacob Krogsgaard said in a statement.
