RGGI seeking applications for 50th quarterly CO2 allowance auction

The last Regional Greenhouse Gas Initiative auction of 2020 will take place Dec. 2 with 16,237,495 carbon dioxide allowances for sale, according to the notice for the 50th quarterly CO2 allowance auction.RGGI will use a minimum reserve price of $2.32/st in 2020, according to RGGI. Applications must be submitted by Oct. 21. There will also be 11.8 million CO2 allowance cost containment reserve available for Auction 50.
