Southeast, ERCOT power prices decrease on lower demand

Southeast electric power fell on Thursday, with lower demand expected ahead of the Easter holiday weekend. Into Southern day-ahead on-peak fell from Platts assessed price of $18.00/MWh, valued around $16.75/MWh. Into GTC day-ahead on-peak moved in the same direction, valued around $17.00MWh, about $2.50 lower than Wednesday’s Platts assessed price of $19.50/MWh.
